Tales and myths about dragons have existed for over a thousand years and across a wide range of cultures from all corners of the globe. These legendary majestic beasts are still hugely popular and fascinate us today (including myself), therefore I have compiled a selection of the best dragon jigsaw puzzles for adults.
Dragons
The origins of dragon mythology is unknown but tales of dragons existed during the age of the ancient Greeks and Sumerians. People’s perception of the dragon’s shape and form varies widely, from large serpent like creatures to ones with four legs, others such as the Greek Hydra have many heads and some are huge winged beasts.
The nature of dragons is also something that differs widely. Many depictions of dragons are of malevolent beasts, such as Smaug in J.R.R. Tolkien’s ‘The Hobbit’, some dragons are neutral and loyal to their master as in TV adaptations of George R.R. Martin’s ‘Game of Thrones’ and others can be kindhearted helpers such as in the movie ‘How to Train Your Dragon’ and ‘Dragonheart’.
Dragons and the folklore that surround them are still hugely popular, and so there legends live on.

Definitely my favorite from this collection. The puzzle is in 3D lenticular printing, hologram effect bringing it to life.

Are the dragons at war or is this their playtime? I’ll let you decide! Fantastic brightly coloured design with lots of dragons, picture focuses on one strong central alpha dragon breathing fire. This puzzle is quite challenging but worth the effort.

Beautiful and uplifting design. The design is set deep in an enchanted forest with a magical princess, her unicorn and a friendly dragon. Excellent quality and fantastic external reviews. An utterly delightful puzzle.
