Review – Ravensburger’s Disney Collector’s Edition Lion King Puzzle
Ravensburger’s Disney Collector’s Edition Lion King Puzzle depicts the dramatic final scene from the iconic 1994 classic film The Lion King. Rafiki stands on Pride Rock, presenting Kion to his future subjects with his proud parents, Simba and Nala, and friends Timon and Pumbaa looking on. The sky’s alight with the effigy of Mufasa gazing down.
The puzzle is a must for any Lion King fan, the vibrant image captures the essence of the Lion King movie, The box image is slightly cut off in places from logos overlapping onto the picture (there is no separate printed image). We found this puzzle more challenging than we had expected it to be due to the darker animal areas, large yellow sky and the deep blue starry border. All the jigsaw pieces are unique and fit well together.
The puzzle is made from cardboard and printed on fine linen structured paper to minimise any glare on the puzzle surface.

That is a gorgeous puzzle! And I can imagine how difficult this was with the different brown hues and the stars at the bottom of the puzzle. It will probably take me forever to put this together 😉 It will be worth it, though. Another great puzzle to put on the wall.
Thanks, this puzzle was fairly challenging but not as difficult as many out there and the end result was definitely worth the effort! I normally start puzzle by completing the border but in hindsight I would recommend completing the border where the film roll is and leaving the blue star area until a later point!
Lovely puzzle, thanks for the recommendation. My cousine is a big fan of the Lion King and Christmas is just behind the corner. I just hope it’s not gonna be that difficult for him.
Thanks, this puzzle does take a bit of patience but that patience certainly pays off at the end. If I complete this puzzle again I would concentrate on the most distinct areas (such as the film roll and area above pride rock and work from there). I would definitely recommend the puzzle for any Lion King fan!
